DIRECTIONAL
DRILL
A Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) is a specialized machine used for installing underground utilities and pipelines without the need for extensive excavation. It creates precise horizontal bores beneath the surface, making it ideal for projects in urban areas, environmentally sensitive zones, or where traditional trenching is impractical. HDD technology allows for the installation of various utilities, including telecommunications, fiber optics, water, sewer, and gas lines, by drilling a pilot hole, enlarging it to the required diameter, and then pulling the utility pipe through the bore. This is the most efficient method because is minimally invasive, and reduces surface disruption.
VAULTS AND HANDHOLES
INSTALLATION
Vaults, handholes, and flowerpots are essential for underground utility installations. Vaults are large underground enclosures that house and protect significant utility components like transformers and junctions.
